iList a popular social free classifieds

Previously I wrote about two other social classifieds namely: Jihoy and Eesy Cheesy . Jihoy has been able to gain good popularity in the USA and some other countries but Eesy Cheesy couldn't get any significat volume of traffic. Today I want to introduce iList.com, a very popular social classifieds having at around  40k position on Alexa ranking.  iList is more robust than those two sites. iList.com has a lot of features. iList can circulate your posting through other social networks like FaceBook, twitter, MySpace, FriendFeed.  iList also can notify your address book contacts of Gmail, yahoo or HotMail.
To reduce fraudulent activities and spamming, iList requires phone verification while registering. So you can confidently deals with other members of this community. You can make friends on iList since it's a social network as well. The more friends you have the more visibily your ads will get. iList.com has online messaging system as well.
iList has a nice flash widget in it's Tools & Widgets section. You can put the listings of iList on your blog or site to enrich your site. Other classifieds put your data in a closed locked database and you’re banned if you try to scrape it. At iList, you can retrive your data using some handy APIs found in the iList Developer’s API section.
Today I have signed up on iList. Here is my profile on iList.com.

Facebook Marketplace is now powered by Oodle

Being inspired by incredible success of the online free classifieds giant craigslist.org, FaceBook started it's free marketplace section on Facebook Platform in May 2007 as a way for people to post classified listings on the FaceBook site which helps people to buy and sell furniture and household items in a trusted environment. On the otherhand, Oodle.com is a leading free classified network in the USA and worldwide. Previously Oodle partnered with MySpace, another leading social networking site. Now Oodle has partnered with FaceBook, #1 popular social networking sites right now. Oodle has already published Facebook Marketplace powered by Oodle
The Oolde powered FaceBook Marketplace has a unique feature named "Sell for a Cause", which allows you to donate the profits of the items you sell to over a million participating charities including UNICEF.
It can be apprehand that FaceBook Marketplace will get more popularity with this new design. The old facebook market place platform will also be available for the time being which will be ultimately abandoned in course of time. A lot of new features and categories will be added soon to the new Oolde powered FaceBook Marketplace.
