AdBhai.com is a good Indian free classified website. The site is positioning itself as a social classifieds site by implementing Google friend connect on its site. The site has also launched a Orkut App(http://adbhai.com/app) which means that your ads can be directly accessed from within the popular social networking site Orkut. The site is currently acting as an aggregator for Indian classifieds by collecting ads from different sites and newspapers but users can post their ads on the site like any other online classifieds site. So AdBhai may be considered as Oodle of India. You do not need register to post ads on AdBhai which makes ad posting easier.
AdBhai covers all major Indian cities and all categories. The site aims to be a CrasigList of india by giving itself a no frills look. Although the site is new but the traffic seems to be picking up pretty decently. The site will also be launching its app on Ning.com. Ning a site that allows you to make your own social network and currently hosting over one million social networks.
AdBhai site is divided into major seven categories: For Sale, Community, Housing / Real Estate, Jobs, Services, Vehicles, Personals. Each category has several sub-categories. Some popular cities of AdBhai are Bangalore, SF bay area, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Mysore and Pune. So outside India, AdBhai has some popularity in San Francisco of the USA.
The site is also working on an affiliate program wherein any one can host their own classifieds site. It is not decide whether this would be a paid service or a free one.

AdBhai seems to be working great as i have ben benefited from it a lot. I would surely recommend my friend to use this site as it has a hge customer base.
Amongst the most successful websites considered for free classified ads adbhai is other great website which has gained popularity shortly. I also have my account in it.
I use http://shopindia.co.in to post free ads. It doesn't require you to go through the irritating registration and the search function is very user friendly where I can search by any Indian city, state or any category of classified ads.
